here comes the boys

here are the newest pics of my girl vaeh. the boys came to stay with us for a few days and these are a couple of the adventures. we had a great time. nevaeh is walking all over the dang place making me wonder why i wanted her to walk sooner. it's the pressure of other people who respond in horror when i told them she was already one year old and not running around. one mother with a child the same age who was a walking protege actually told me that "some babies are just smart" and offered the suggestion that "maybe she's spoiled". regardless, she has almost mastered it and is trying to run before she can finish. she is also talking up a storm and i am amazed at how much she freakin understands. and she is starting her career as a mimic, practically everything we say or do, she tries to say and do. this includes making num-num noises when eating, and picking her nose, both gifts i was endowed with. but, alas, her tantrums only grow stronger. she is BIG into hitting and biting to try to get her way, and today she pulled her first real tantrum when mike wouldn't let her go outside so she responded by sprawling out on the floor facedown and pounding her fist in anger. yikes. just imagine what our lives will be like when she can't get the car to go out on a friday night. double yikes.

so i have finished my first week with these little munchkins, and (thanks greatly to farideh's presence) it has been great. it is actually kinda easy sometimes cause they entertain themselves. cutest thing so far i think was yesterday, when we returned home from a walk (my bike trailer converts to a stroller for two) when we reached in to get them out they were holding hands. OMG!!! but as soon as logan saw us he was like "get her off me!" nevaeh is always trying to get some loving off him, and he doesn't usually bite. but, she heeds the advice of hitch in that she'll only go 90%, and wait for him to come 10. so this involves leaning up into his face with puckered lips and "mmmmmmmm"ing. ah, unrequited love. oh i almost forgot- nevaeh took her first steps on wednesday! lua and dylan were witnesses, as she plummeted into lua's lap. since then she has taken few more steps, but she thinks it's terribly exciting to stand and think about walking. babies.
