photo shoot

hey yall. i know- it's been forever. sadly, the lack of posts has been due to the shortage of batteries in my house. so, if you want more pictures drop off some aa's.

as means of a general update, we moved into our own place! it is soooo great to be in our own space, and we have the biggest yard ever. seriously, i think we could build another house back there and live comforatbley.

nevaeh is getting closer and closer to her second birthday. in true almost-two-years-old fashion she can be a tazmanian devil of a shrew. but she is also gloriously loving and cute. she is talking constantly and we are surprised everyday by what she understands and can say. her two-word sentences are well under way, and she is quite clever at inventing a hybrid language of baby/proper english. it usually goes like this: "zabu dappy pappy mom zabu WALK" so pretty much she babbles for awhile, interspersing actual words with her own words and then ends loudly on what she wants from whoever she is talking to. she will inevitable say OK 10-20 times throughout any conversation. ok? ok.

she now calls my dad, mama. she usually will say papa, but if we pull up to their place the first name that comes from her mouth is mama.

nevaeh LOVES being outside. i know, all kids do. but i've never seen a child so crazy about walking around outside. to the extreme that if it is blowing wind and she is soaked from sitting in a puddle, she will still scream and try to bite me as i take her inside. if i try to convince her to come in by saying that i will leave her out alone, she just waves and yells "bye bye mommy". yikes.

nevaeh also LOVES movies. it's probably the biggest reason i know she's an olson. when not outside, she will insist on watching a "boobie" as she so comically calls them.

these pictures are the result of a photo shoot with uncle dylan, there are so many beautiful ones, but here are my faves. it's funny, they are from about two months ago or so, and she has grown so much since then! gotta get some batteries!
